Fagn Trondheim's First Michelin Starred Restaurant!

Fagn is a Nordic restaurant founded by chef Jonas Andre Nåvik – alumni of three-Michelin-starred restaurant Alinea in Chicago. On Credoveita, the old location of Heidi Bjerkan’s Credo, he created a fine-dining restaurant on the first floor, and a more relaxed restaurant and cocktail bar on the second floor. As the first restaurant in Trondheim, Fagn was awarded a Michelin star in 2019.

Highlights from the meal included a Jerusalem artichoke tart with king crab shoulder and a dessert of browned butter ice cream and fermented oats. Fagn is at their best when they don’t add too much circus and show to their presentations, but rather focuses on the top-quality ingredients from the Trøndelag region.

Note: Jonas Nåvik is no longer the head chef at Fagn.
