Hi
Today is the day! The annual World's 50 Best Restaurants ceremony takes place tonight in Las Vegas. This is one of the most important days of the year for passionate food lovers and restaurateurs – it's The Oscars of the food world! We've written our annual predictions of which restaurants might be spotted on the top 50 list, and we've even made a full YouTube video from the restaurant we think will snag the number one spot. Scroll down to see which one it is! 👀
Do you want to join us at one of the restaurants currently in the top 10 of the list? Come on our next food tour! This August, we're taking twelve lucky guests to the Big Apple for our first-ever NYC food tour! 🗽
The Best of New York Food Tour will be an all-inclusive four-day culinary adventure from August 22nd-25th. Experience the best of NYC on our exclusive food tour, showing you all of our favorite foods in one of the greatest eating destinations in the world. We’ll explore both Manhattan and Brooklyn together, introducing you to everything from street food to fine dining. We'll feast on the city's best bagels, pizza, and burgers, world-class pastry creations, and one-of-a-kind breakfast sandwiches unlike anything you’ve ever tasted.
But that's not all! The main event will be a full takeover of the chef’s counter at Atomix, the two-Michelin-starred Korean restaurant currently ranked the no. 1 restaurant in the U.S. by the World’s 50 Best (and no. 8 in the world). ⭐ ⭐ We’re also doing an insane bang-bang-bang, hitting three NYC hotspots in one night! We’ll start with fried chicken, caviar & Champagne at COQODAQ 🍗 continue with dinner at COTE (America’s first Michelin-starred Korean BBQ restaurant) ⭐ and end with craft cocktails at the speakeasy bar Undercote. 🍸

RUMORS & FOOD NEWS – JUNE 2024 The summer is always abuzz with activity in Copenhagen. Reservations are now open for Alouette 2.0, which will open its doors in new premises on Kongens Have on June 27th. Recently opened restaurant Aure is the talk of the town after it received its first Michelin star last week. This weekend, natural wine lovers can fill their cups at RAW WINE Fair, and many producers are doing pop-ups around the city at various restaurants and bars after the festival.
Next month, an exciting new restaurant will open on the island of Vejrø, an hour outside of Copenhagen. Restaurant Gaia showcases Vejrø’s natural bounty – homegrown vegetables, locally hunted game, and the freshest fish and shellfish. Sustainable fishing, animal welfare, and organic principles are the cornerstones of Gaia.
In Stockholm, chefs Tommy Myllymäki and Pi Le of Aira have just announced that they are taking over Bobergs Matsal, formerly owned by the Frantzén group. The restaurant will reopen in August.
In Oslo, the city is teeming with new restaurants. One we're especially excited about is Palate, the new concept that took over the space that formerly housed The Vandelay. The Hungries are also saying that it's worth visiting the new Fåbro Gård, which has some bakers who previously worked at renowned Stockholm bakery Svedjan. Copenhagen porridge shop, Grød, has also announced they will open their first Oslo location in August.
