RUMORS & FOOD NEWS – NOVEMBER 2024 So much is happening in Copenhagen these days! Aurora (the ice cream shop connected to Benji, Københavns Bageri, and Alice) is now serving brunch – and it's one of the city's best. Indonesian restaurant Saji's new, affordably priced tasting menu is their best menu yet, with some of the most flavorful, aromatic dishes in town. A Middle Eastern bistro, Levantin, is opening on Værnedamsvej this week. At the end of the month, Italian pop-up restaurant Fojetta is moving to a permanent location in Frederiksberg. Our favorite cocktail bar, Balderdash, turns ten next month, and is celebrating with a birthday bash. Sushi Anaba announced that it's moving locations to a historic building in Nordhavn.
Here's the latest food news from Oslo! Atli Már Yngvason (Katla, Pjoltergeist) is opening in the old Ling Ling location on Aker Brygge, together with some of the team from Jimmy's. Sjappa will be a new wine and vermouth bar by Youngstorget, from the owners behind 100 and 200.
In Stockholm, Nordic/French Bistro Toujours (from Tommy Myllymäki and Pi Le of Aira) has opened inside the NK department store. Japanese and Korean-inspired restaurant Tako has also reopened in Östermalm.
