Valentine Doughnuts Pop-up at Java Made With Love by Talor

My amazing friend Talor made these wonderful doughnuts for Valentine’s Day. Available today only, as a pop-up in the coffee shop Java at St. Hanshaugen where she works as a barista. These might just have been the best damn doughnuts I ever tasted! Talor had made two different batters. One with more butter and one with more milk. It was almost impossible to decide on a favorite, though. The first was more rich and sticky, while the latter was more fluffy and light. All I know is I wanted more – of both.

Talor used to work at Tim Wendelboe when I first got to know her, but has since moved on to the café on the hill. The last couple of weeks I’ve noticed on Instagram that she’s been busy with an exciting project. I believe her dream is to open a place of her own someday, and doughnuts might just be a part of that plan. Until that day comes, the next opportunity to taste her doughnuts will be at Restaurant Day on Sunday the 21st of February. You’ll find me first in the line!

Thanks Talor!
