Awards season is in full swing, and Scandinavian restaurants are in the spotlight! A week ago, we attended the Nordic Michelin Awards Ceremony, which was held in Stavanger. It was so fun to be in person again, especially since new stars rained down on Oslo this year – congratulations to Schlägergarden, Hot Shop, and Hyde! In Copenhagen, Jatak also received a Michelin star, after only being open for five months. There’s no shortage of great restaurants where we live, that’s for sure!
Next week, we’re attending the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards, which will take place in London. Will Geranium take first place this year? Or will Frantzén leapfrog over them and take the prize? Will Alchemist climb right into the top ten? Keep reading to see our 50 Best predictions post below!
The Hungries – Upcoming Events
On August 7th, we’re hosting our first annual Hungries Hullabaloo – a big summer party here in Copenhagen for all members of The Hungries! The Gasoline Grill food truck will be parked in our beautiful backyard, grilling up their world-famous cheeseburgers for you to feast on.
