About This Policy
This cancellation policy applies to all tours and events organized by The Hungries Aps. All our tours and events are exclusively for VIP members of The Hungries. To purchase tickets to our tours or events, make sure to join the club first at a VIP level. If you purchase a ticket without a membership, refunds may not be possible.
Tours
The full price of a tour is due at the time of booking to confirm your spot. The tour page specifies what is included and what is not included in each tour.
In case of cancellation 60 days prior to the start of the trip, the full amount is refunded minus a cancellation fee, equal to 5% of the tour price per person. This covers our payment processing fees and potential currency losses.
In case of cancellation less than 60 days prior to the start of the trip, only a 50% refund will be provided unless the spot is filled by another guest (in which case only the cancellation fee, equal to 5% of the tour price per person, applies).
In case of cancellation less than 30 days prior to the start of the trip, no refund is offered.
Events
Our community leaders assign spots to events on our forum. If you purchase a ticket without a pre-assigned spot, refunds may not be possible.
The full price of an event is due at the time of booking to confirm your spot. The event page specifies what is included and what is not included in each event.
All our events can be canceled up to one week prior to the start of the event, unless otherwise stated on the specific event page.
In case of cancellation one week prior to the start of the event, the full amount is refunded minus a cancellation fee, equal to 5% of the event price per person. This covers our payment processing fees and potential currency losses.
In case of cancellation less than one week prior to the start of the event, no refund is offered unless the spot is filled by another member (in which case only the cancellation fee, equal to 5% of the event price per person, applies).
Late Arrivals and No Shows
We recommend you show up 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of our tours and events. As a general rule, our tours and events begin precisely at the scheduled start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you have a hard time arriving on time, we encourage you to contact us or the community leader in charge as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time.
Transportation or Illness
Since we may be unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including those caused by transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds beyond what’s stated above. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!
Weather Conditions
Likewise for the above mentioned conditions, we do not offer refunds in the case of cancellations due to inclement weather. As a general rule, our tours and events run rain or shine. In the event that weather conditions make it impossible to run the tour or event, we will contact you offering a rescheduling or a refund.
Discount Codes
Discount codes are only valid for new bookings. They are not eligible for pre-existing bookings and can not be applied retrospectively. Gift cards can’t be combined with other promo codes.
