Experience the best of New York on our exclusive food tour, showing you all of our favorite spots in the Big Apple! Twelve lucky guests will get to join us for a long weekend of eating adventures – we’ll explore Manhattan and Brooklyn together, introducing you to everything from street food to fine dining. You’ll eat the city’s best bagels, our favorite pizza in the world, the juiciest burgers, and one-of-a-kind breakfast sandwiches unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. We have also booked the entire counter at Atomix – ranked the no. 1 restaurant in the U.S. by the World’s 50 Best (and no. 6 in the world).

THE ITINERARY

Thursday, August 22nd

7pm: Pizza Party at Mama’s TOO!
We’re kicking off the food tour with a pizza party at our favorite pizzeria in NYC, Mama’s TOO!, at their brand new location in West Village. These square slices are almost like focaccia (doughy, crispy, with a caramelized crust) and everything is made fresh and served till it runs out. You’ll get to sample four different flavors of pizza, try an exclusive off-menu dish, and indulge in their amazing gelato for dessert!

9pm: Cocktails at Superbueno
We’ll end the first night of the tour at New York’s hottest new cocktail bar. Superbueno only opened a year ago, and already has soared onto the top of awards lists and rankings – it was recently awarded no. 2 on North America’s 50 Best Bars! Earlier this year, Food & Wine named it the “#1 Bar in the U.S.”, and that’s not all – Tales of the Cocktail named it the “Best New Bar U.S. Cocktail Bar.” The drinks at this Mexican American bar are so fun and unique – we’re talking mole negronis, mushroom margaritas, salted plum and tamarind punches, and mezcal pineapple slushies. And, of course, for anyone who wants a super good time sin alcohol, they’ve got tasty, creative, and award-wininng non-alcoholic options as well! We can’t wait to take you here – it’s going to be a superbueno time!

Friday, August 23rd

12pm: New York’s Best Bagels
We’ll kick off day two with an essential New York eat: the bagel! And not just any bagel – we’re taking you to Kaitlin’s favorite bagel shop in the world, Absolute Bagels. Maybe it’s something in the water, maybe it’s magic. Whatever it is, it’s undeniable that New York is home to the world’s best bagels. And since Absolute Bagels is the best bagel shop in New York City, it therefore must be the best in the world.

3pm: Dessert Tasting Menu at Lysée
Finally, we’re organizing a full takeover of an NYC hotspot sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Lysée is the magical workshop where a pastry chef formerly of Michelin-starred restaurants has created her marvelously sweet universe! Get ready for afternoon delight after delight, as we’ve booked the entire dining room at this pastry gallery where we can feast on all things sweet – and a few salty surprises, too! We’ve curated a custom Hungries tasting menu with all the signatures (yes, you’ll get to try the corn!), as well as some extra special add-ons. We can’t wait to share with you some of the most decadent and innovative pastry creations we’ve ever tried.

8:45pm: Dinner at Atomix
At last, the moment you’ve been waiting for – Atomix! This is the headliner of our food tour, and with good reason. The two-Michelin-starred contemporary Korean fine dining restaurant from Ellia Park and her husband, chef Junghyun “JP” Park is currently ranked the no. 1 restaurant in the U.S. by the World’s 50 Best (and no. 6 in the world). We’re doing a full takeover of the entire chef’s counter, so we’ll have the dining room completely to ourselves! This is sure to be an unforgettable evening.

12pm: Taiwanese Brunch at Win Son Bakery
One of our favorite bites in NYC is the scallion pancake egg sandwich at Taiwanese/American Win Son Bakery in Brooklyn. (This dish is so good that the first time we tried it we ordered seconds immediately after finishing.) Also on our brunch table will be Fan Tuan, a classic Taiwanese breakfast staple made with sticky rice wrapped around fried dough and pork floss. But that’s not all – we’ll also eat griddled pork buns and mochi donuts for dessert!

2pm: Cookies at Levain Bakery
Next, we’ll take you to Levain Bakery for the best cookie you’ll ever eat. You’ve probably seen them on Instagram: the enormous chocolate chip cookies, crispy on the outside with a gooey cookie dough center. They might be Insta-famous, but Levain Bakery is so much more than a social media fad – these gigantic sweet treats are really the best cookies in the world. The chocolate chip walnut cookie is the most popular, but don’t sleep on the dark chocolate peanut butter or the oatmeal raisin.

6:30pm: Fried Chicken, Caviar, and Champagne
We’ve arranged a super unique, one-night-only, bang-bang-bang, featuring not one, not two, but three NYC hotspots back to back! (Because why would we just go to one when we could go to them all?!) The last night of our Best of New York food tour will be a holy trifecta of deliciousnes. We’ll start with fried chicken, caviar, and Champagne at COQODAQ, the newest restaurant from the COTE group.

8:00pm: Michelin-Starred Korean BBQ
We’ll continue with a carnivorous feast at America’s first Michelin-starred Korean barbecue restaurant, COTE. Every table has its own grill, where the meat is expertly cooked in front of your eyes. All cuts of beef served at Cote are top-quality: USDA Prime and Japanese A5 wagyu. Get ready for sizzling steaks and Korean accompaniments! And don’t forget the soft serve…

10:00pm: Speakeasy Cocktails
We’ll finish the night with craft cocktails (and maybe a few more snacks) at their speakeasy bar, Undercote. You pretty much cannot go wrong on the cocktail list, but a couple of our favorites are the “Purrrfect,” a fresh sour lemonade with a minty bitter touch, and the magical, color-changing butterfly pea cocktail with gin, vermouth, and apple. Prepare yourself for an eating and drinking feast – this will be the ultimate food crawl!

11am: Battle of the Burgers
We’ll cure our hangovers with some of the city’s best burgers, and finally settle the age-old debate in a true battle of the burgers: smash burgers vs. thick patties! We’ll start with a New York classic at Virginia’s: a thick, juicy beef patty in a toasted brioche bun, topped with Cabot cheddar, Vidalia onion, bone marrow marmalade, and mayonnaise. The burger is perfectly cooked with a hot pink center, oozing meat juice – and we love the sweetness provided by the onions and cheese.

Next, we’ll head to Gotham Smash Burgers’ new brick and mortar location to try the city’s hottest smash burger. The Gotham Smash comes with two smashed patties, grilled onions, melted American cheese, house-made pickles, jalapeños, club sauce, ketchup, and mustard. In addition to these signature burgers, there will also be some off-menu burgers making a special appearance just for this epic burger battle. Get ready to unbuckle your belts and get your burger belly on!
