Moment The Most Sustainable Restaurant in Aarhus

Located about an hour outside of Aarhus is Moment, which serves only the food of the “moment” – as seasonal and local as possible. The meal here is completely vegetarian, but the produce and flavors are so great you won’t miss meat for a second. Some standout dishes were the baked onion with mascarpone, and the vegetable bao with sauerkraut, fermented pumpkin, chili and dill. A majority of the food comes from their own greenhouse and garden! We also loved the natural wines and house-made kombuchas served with our tasting menu. Restaurant Moment received a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide in 2019.
