Located in Vesterbro in Copenhagen, Ancestrale is a casual Nordic restaurant and natural wine bar from Johann Duedahl Jacobsen. Patrick Sebastian Hult and Andreas Waechter was part of the original restaurant, but are no longer involved. Both Ancestrale and its sister restaurant Kaptajn went bankrupt during the COVID-19 pandemic, but Ancestrale was later re-opened by Duedahl Jacobsen.
