LLocated inside the luxurious Bergen Børs Hotel in Norway is Frescohallen, named for the frescos adorning the high-vaulted ceilings in the historic renaissance building from 1861. The venue was once former Bergen Stock Exchange, but now has been converted into an all-day restaurant. The grand dining room is one of the most spectacular in Norway – the history has been preserved throughout the renovation. Stig Bareksten of Bareksten Spirits has opened his first bar inside Frescohallen, showcasing his botanical universe of gin, absinthe, and aquavit. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and features local Norwegian seafood and vegetables
