Located in the city center of Oslo, in Kvadraturen, Spor av Nord is a café and casual neighborhood eatery open from early morning until late at night. Møsbrømlefse, a traditional Norwegian pastry from Salten, is the signature dish. Casseroles, soups, and simple dishes based on local vegetables or seafood are central. On the drink side, you’ll find wine, beer from Bådin in Bodø, drinks based on gin and rum from Myken, non-alcoholic options from the Norwegian company Leske, and coffee brewed on beans from Bønner i Byen (a standalone coffee distillery established in 2013 by coffee enthusiasts in the north).
Martin Bonita Skar is the head chef. Spor av Nord is furnished with findings from Blomquist, Finn.no, Lauritz, and other thrift stores. They have obtained a retailer’s license and most of the furniture is for sale. They also sell flowers from their in-house florist.
