A new location of Rosio Sanchez’s taqueria, Hija de Sanchez, has opened in the Meatpacking District (Kødbyen), and with that, Noma’s former pastry chef has expanded her taco business in Copenhagen. Located in a brick and mortar building in a vibrant part of town, this is a great summer hangout for tacos, aguas frescas (fresh juices), and paletas (ice pops).

Make sure to follow their Instagram or Facebook page to get news about the highly popular Amigos de Sanchez events. Top chefs in Copenhagen and from all over the world are regular guest chefs and the queues are as long as their reputations are big. I was there when Chef’s Table-celebrity and one of South America’s best chefs, Alex Atala, helped Rosio make some kick-ass tacos.
