Noma is the World’s Best Restaurant 2021 Check the Full List Here!

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants (W50B) awards just went down in Antwerp. And what an exciting evening it was – Noma was once again crowned the world’s best restaurant! Of course, we were present in Belgium to cover the events (and to eat all the Belgian frites). At the last awards ceremony in 2019, the “Best of the Best list” was announced, effectively changing the top-list by removing all of the past winners, including Mirazur, Osteria Francescana, El Celler de Can Roca, and the Fat Duck, from the competition. The original Noma was also moved to this top list (after winning the title in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014), but the 50 Best organization still allowed René Redzepi to remain in the competition with his new restaurant, Noma 2.0. As TasteHunters for the Scandinavian region, we are thrilled that Noma has once again reclaimed the throne this year, and we couldn’t be happier that Geranium is in second place. That’s right – the city of Copenhagen is home to the two best restaurants in the world! That means most of our predictions this year came true, and we couldn’t be happier to see our favorite restaurant, Frantzén, finally on the top ten list. Keep reading to see the full list of winners in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021.
