Copenhagen Food News (October 2021) Openings, Events & Pop-Ups

Perhaps the biggest “news” for Copenhagen restaurants this month isn’t taking place in Copenhagen, but in Belgium. The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony will take place on October 5th in Antwerp, and we expect to see both Noma and Geranium in the top five this year. Fingers crossed! If you won’t be in Belgium, there’s still quite a lot happening in the Danish capital. How lucky are we to live in the best food city in the world?! Keep reading to see a list of the exciting new openings, events, pop-ups, and collabs happening this month in Copenhagen.

  • Greetings,

My wife are huge fans of your videos, we’re traveling to Copenhagen for the first time from Louisville Kentucky during the first week of November for a Alchemist/Noma/Geranium marathon.

When we saw your post about the Kitchen Table at Kong Hans Kælder we got really excited, is there any chance that you have 2 seats left for what I’m sure will be an incredible experience?

PS we went to Mexico City on your recommendation and Quintonil was the highlight of our trip.

    Best,
    Jon and Whitney Kaplan

    • Hi Jon and Whitney! We haven’t released spots for the Kong Hans event yet, but they are exclusively reserved for members of our food club The Hungries. So would definitely recommend joining if you’re interested in attending. We will be drawing names randomly in the next week or so. 🙂 Thanks for the nice words and hope to have you in the club soon!
