We see it in nature, and we also see it in the city’s events and pop-ups – restaurants are waking up from their winter hibernation! Life is in full bloom this March in Copenhagen. Noma Projects Launch — March 1st

Geranium New Menu – March 2nd

Meatless menus are taking the world by storm! One of the first top restaurants to eliminate meat from their menu was Eleven Madison Park, and now Geranium joins their ranks. For their first time since they opened over ten years ago, chef Rasmus Kofoed and his team have completely scrapped all their signature dishes and are starting anew. Their new menu features seasonal vegetables and seafood; vegetarian and vegan menus are also available upon request. We loved Angelika (the plant-based pop-up from the Geranium team during the first lockdown), so we can’t wait to try the new menu! Click here to book a table.

Rosio Sanchez x Jakob De Neergaard – March 3rd

Chefs Rosio Sanchez (Sanchez, Hija de Sanchez Taqueria, Hija de Sanchez Cantina) and Jakob De Neergaard (Marchal) are teaming up to host a social hour party at Balthazar. Drop by between 18:00 and 20:00 for some pre-dinner snacks and Champagne. Click the post below for reservation information.

Il Buco – March 6th

On Sunday, March 6th, Il Buco will donate all profits to the Danish Refugee Council (Dansk Flygtningehjælp), an emergency aid organization that is currently doing humanitarian aid work in Ukraine. Click here to book a table.

Karishma Sanghi x Cadence – March 9th

Indian chef Karishma Sanghi (Hart Bageri) is hosting another of her wildly popular pop-ups, Chalo – this time at Cadence in Carlsberg Byen. Sanghi will showcase vegetarian dishes from her hometown of Bombay. Click here to book a table.

Caribbean Housewife Roast – March 9th

The Caribbean Housewife Roast returns on March 9th at the Kitchen Collective on Slagtehusgade 11A. These pop-ups are held on the second Wednesday of every month in Kødbyen and feature a four-course menu alongside a pairing showcasing female natural winemakers. Click here to book a table.

Jake Vousden x Alexander Baert – March 13th

The Chef’s Social Sundays series at Restaurant 56° continues on March 13th with Jake Vousden (head chef of Restaurant 56°) and Alexander Baert (sous chef at Geranium). Claus Meyer Pasta Pop-Up – March 13th

The next guest chef at Mirabelle’s Pasta Jam series is Claus Meyer! For one night only, Meyer will join Christian Puglisi and the Mirabelle team to cook up some pasta! Click here to book a table.

kōnā Omakase Pop-Up  – March 13 and 14th

Slurp x Chung King Noodles Pop-Up – March 20th

Copenhagen’s noodle paradise, Slurp, is being transformed from a humble ramen shop into a “Chinese noodle kingdom” on March 20th, when Chung King Noodles from Berlin takes over their kitchen. (For those in Berlin, this pop-up will be reserved next month, when Slurp takes over Chung King Noodles’ kitchen!) As always, no reservations available at Slurp, so arrive early to guarantee you get a bowl.

Amass Blackout Dinner – March 24th

Amass is cutting the power for a special dinner, where they will cook only using barbecues and live fire. Chefs Kyumin Hanh (Kadeau), Nick Curtin (Alouette), Kamilla Seidler (Lola) and Magnus Pettersson (Selma) will join forces with Matt Orlando (Amass) to craft a ten-course tasting menu, where each chef will contribute two dishes. Angelika Pop-Up – March 27th

Copenhagen Natural Wine Festival – tickets on sale now!

A new natural wine festival is coming to Copenhagen! Stig Thorsteinsson of Thorsteinsson’s Wine has organized a big event on April 23rd at HubNordic in Ørestad, featuring winemakers from all over Europe. There will be tastings, masterclasses, and DJ performances. See the winemakers and buy tickets here.

The Hungries are headed to Noma again! As has become our seasonal tradition, we’ve booked a big group table for The Hungries to experience the new Noma menu. Seats for this dinner in April are already filled, but join the club to come to Noma with us this summer for the vegetarian menu.

Lunch at Restaurant LYST – May 7th

The Hungries are headed to Restaurant LYST in Vejle, Denmark’s newest Michelin-starred restaurant, for an indulgent spring lunch. Members from Copenhagen will take the train together in the morning and meet up with our other Danish members for an unforgettable tasting menu and specially curated wine pairing. We’ll eat, we’ll drink, and we’ll spend all day in the enchanting Fjordenhus, and we’ll end our day sitting around the fire together. Only 14 spots available – join the club to reserve your spot.
